(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2015), a delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Comrade Ho Duc Phoc, visited and congratulated the teachers and students of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School.

Provincial leaders, along with officials, teachers, and students of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, solemnly performed the flag-raising ceremony.

Over 40 years of development and growth, generations of teachers and students at Phan Boi Chau High School have written glorious chapters in its history, adding to its impressive list of achievements. In the 2014-2015 academic year, the school successfully completed its mission of nurturing national and international優秀 students, with 82 national優秀 students and 5 students participating in international and regional Olympiads in Mathematics, Informatics, and Physics.

The results included one student winning a gold medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad, one student winning a silver medal at the International Physics Olympiad, and one student winning a silver medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad.

Mr. Ngo Sy Thuy, Principal of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, reviewed the traditions and achievements of generations of teachers and students under the roof of the school named after the patriotic scholar Phan Boi Chau.

Regarding the school's staff and teachers, many teachers have been honored with commendations from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the People's Committee of Nghe An province for their outstanding achievements in leadership, teaching, and student development. Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School is also a model school in the province's education sector's innovative experience sharing movement.

In particular, in the recent provincial-level excellent teacher competition, the school is proud to have all 8 participating teachers achieve high results, making the school the best performing unit in the provincial-level excellent teacher competition.

In addition, the activities of school organizations such as the Trade Union and the Youth Union have flourished, contributing to a joyful atmosphere and fostering moral development and talent cultivation. Many school activities have created highlights and widespread impact, such as the competition for composing and singing folk songs (ví and dặm); and the various foreign language clubs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, extended his congratulations to the generations of cadres and teachers of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School on this important occasion for the education sector. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee warmly praised the achievements that the teachers and students of the school have attained over the past 40 years.

The comrade affirmed that the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, and all levels of departments, organizations, and associations always pay special attention to this school with a rich tradition. Comrade Thai Huy Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, presented Certificates of Commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 33 teachers who achieved outstanding results in directing, managing, and training gifted students and national-level science and technology competitions in the 2014-2015 school year.

Also at the ceremony, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc presented Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training and Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to the school's staff and teachers who have achieved many outstanding results in the emulation movement of good teaching - good learning.
