The second session of the 17th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, for the term 2025-2030, held on the morning of November 25th, proceeded with the election of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the positions of President and Vice President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union for the 17th term, 2025-2030. Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien was re-elected as President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union for the 17th term, 2025-2030.

41 comrades were elected to the Executive Committee of the Provincial Women's Union, 17th term.
Based on the personnel plan prepared by the Executive Committee of the 16th term and approved by the Congress, delegates elected 41 members to the Executive Committee of the Provincial Women's Union for the 17th term, 2025-2030 (one position remains vacant). Of these, 13 members were re-elected, accounting for 31%, and 29 members participated for the first time, accounting for 69%.
In terms of structure, there are 33 comrades who are full-time officials.The members are 78.5% from provincial, commune, and special region-level association members, and 9 members are leaders of departments, agencies, and businesses, accounting for 21.5%.
The Congress also approved the personnel nominations and proceeded to elect 16 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to the 14th National Congress of Women's Representatives, for the term 2026-2031.

The Executive Committee elected Comrade Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, and President of the Provincial Women's Union in the 16th term - to continue serving as President of the Provincial Women's Union in the 17th term, 2025-2030.
