In Decision No. 1396/QD-UBND, dated June 6, 2024, the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee decided to appoint for a period of 5 years comrade Le Anh Tuan - Deputy Director of Pu Mat National Park, to hold the position of Director of Pu Mat National Park.

Comrade Le Anh Tuan, born on September 1, 1971. Hometown: Long Xa Commune, Hung Nguyen District, Nghe An Province. Professional qualifications: Bachelor of Economics, Master of Economic Management. Political theory qualifications: Advanced. State management qualifications: Senior specialist.

From May 1989 to October 1992, he was a worker at Nghe Tinh Specialty Forestry Processing Enterprise; from October 1992 to April 1994, he was a worker at Nghe An Forest Resources Protection Center;

From April 1994 to December 1995, he was a Forest Ranger, Do Luong Forest Products Inspection Department, Nghe An.

From December 1995 to December 1999, he was a Forest Ranger, Vinh - Hung Nguyen Forest Product Inspection Department, Nghe An;

From December 1999 - February 2001, he was a Forest Ranger, Quynh Luu Forest Ranger Department, Nghe An;

From March 2001 to April 2003, he was Treasurer, Pu Mat National Park, Nghe An;

From April 2003 to May 2009, he was Deputy Head of Finance and Planning Department, Pu Mat National Park, Nghe An.

From May 2009 to December 2017, he was Head of Finance - Planning Department, Pu Mat National Park, Nghe An and from January 2018 to April 2024, he was Deputy Director of Pu Mat National Park, Nghe An.

From April 2024, he was Deputy Director in charge of Pu Mat National Park, Nghe An when Director of Pu Mat National Park Tran Xuan Cuong was appointed Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism.

Pu Mat National Park is headquartered in Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district, Nghe An province. It is a public service unit under the People's Committee of Nghe An province; subject to professional and technical management of provincial-level specialized agencies and competent agencies according to the provisions of law.

The Park has the task of conserving natural resources, protecting biodiversity and cultural, historical and landscape values ​​within the Park; scientific research and international cooperation; education, propaganda, raising awareness of nature conservation and ecological environment protection for the community; maintaining the protective effect of forests within the Park's boundaries.

Pu Mat National Park is located on the administrative boundaries of 3 districts: Anh Son, Con Cuong, and Tuong Duong. The southern boundary of the National Park runs along the Vietnam-Laos border and is part of the Western Nghe An Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESCO on September 18, 2007.

Western Nghe An Biosphere Reserve is the largest terrestrial Biosphere Reserve in Vietnam, located within the administrative boundaries of 9 districts of Western Nghe An (Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Thanh Chuong, Quy Hop, Quy Chau, Que Phong, Tan Ky, Anh Son).

The Western Nghe An Biosphere Reserve has an area of ​​1,299,795 hectares, of which the core area is 168,301 hectares (Pu Mat National Park, Pu Huong and Pu Hoat Nature Reserves), the buffer zone is 608,547 hectares and the transition zone is 522,947 hectares.
