Comrade Le Thi Hoai Chung has been appointed to the position of Director of the Nghe An Department of Health.

On the morning of November 15th, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel matters. Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - attended and presented the decision.

Also attending were comrades: Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; representatives of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office, departments, agencies and Yen Thanh district..

In Decision No. 2929/QD-UBND dated November 1, 2024, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee transferred and appointed Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee - to the position of Director of the Department of Health. The decision takes effect from November 15, 2024.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - presented the decision, offered congratulatory flowers, and assigned tasks to Comrade Le Thi Hoai Chung.

Congratulating the new Director of the Department of Health, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assessed that Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung is a well-trained official with a long history of experience and practical skills, having held various positions. Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung has a very high level of education and over 28 years of service in various positions, including nearly 21 years in the health sector.

The Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Comrade Le Thi Hoai Chung deserves the trust and confidence of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and that the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has decided to transfer and appoint her to the new position.

This is an honor and a source of pride, but it is also a great responsibility for me to continue striving to live up to the trust, confidence, and expectations of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the leadership of the Provincial People's Committee.

Looking ahead, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung urged the new Director of the Department of Health, Le Thi Hoai Chung, to quickly adapt to the new role, proactively implement tasks, and promote exemplary, creative, and innovative leadership and management in the health sector. Currently, healthcare is a very broad, complex, and demanding field.

In particular, it is essential to thoroughly understand and strictly implement the viewpoint of the Central Committee and General Secretary To Lam: State management must shift from rigid and mechanical to effective management, unlocking development resources and abandoning the mindset of "if you can't manage it, ban it."

One of the key tasks that the health sector in general, and Comrade Le Thi Hoai Chung in particular, must accomplish, as defined in Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo, is to build Nghe An into a medical center for the North Central region and develop the health system of Vinh city into the core of a specialized medical center for the North Central region.

Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also requested the Health sector to create the most favorable conditions for Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung to access her work. Maintaining unity and cohesion is considered a prerequisite for the common good, so that Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung can fulfill her assigned tasks.

In addition, we request that Yen Thanh district support the Health sector and Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung in completing their assigned tasks, for the common goal of contributing to making Nghe An province a prosperous province in the near future.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Duc Trung, acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa, former Director of the Department of Health, during her time in office. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the Yen Thanh District Party Committee for creating favorable conditions for Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung during her tenure.

Speaking on behalf of the two newly appointed colleagues, the new Director of the Department of Health, Le Thi Hoai Chung, expressed her honor, gratitude, and clear awareness of the important responsibility she has been entrusted with by the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in being assigned and appointed to this new position.

In response to the increasing demands of society as a whole, in her new position, Director of the Department of Health Le Thi Hoai Chung expressed that she is determined to quickly familiarize herself with the work, learn, and research, especially to fully and seriously absorb the tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Secretary and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and incorporate them into her action plan in the coming time.

Director of the Department of Health, Le Thi Hoai Chung, pledged to do her utmost, together with the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Department of Health, to build unity, determination, and decisiveness to complete the assigned tasks; and at the same time, hoped to continue receiving the attention of the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, agencies, localities, and the collective of the two sectors: Health and Justice, to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
