Comrade Phan Duc Dong has been appointed to the position of Secretary of the (new) Vinh City Party Committee.
The Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has appointed Comrade Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Vinh City People's Council - to the position of Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee (new) for the 2020-2025 term.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has just issued a Decision appointing the (new) Vinh City Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 65 members; and the (new) Vinh City Party Committee Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 19 members.
Appointing Comrade Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Vinh City People's Council - to the position of Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee (new) for the term 2020 - 2025.
The following four comrades have been appointed to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee (new) for the 2020-2025 term:
- Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee.
- Comrade Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee.
- Comrade Le Thanh Long - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee.
- Comrade Tran Ngoc Tu - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh City.
The functions, duties, powers, and working relationships of the new Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Vinh City Party Committee are implemented in accordance with Regulation No. 202-QĐ/TW, dated August 2, 2019, of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and other relevant regulations and guidelines of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee. The new Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Vinh City Party Committee lead the development of working regulations and work programs; and lead the assignment of tasks to members of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and other leadership and management positions in accordance with current regulations of the Party and the State.
This decision will take effect from January 1, 2025.
