Comrade Tran Minh Ngoc holds the position of Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station.

On the afternoon of June 27, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the decision to merge Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station, as well as personnel organization matters.

Attending the ceremony were Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Nam Dinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Ngoc Kim Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department. Also present were Comrade Le Dinh Ly - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Organization Department; leaders of the Party Committees of provincial Party agencies, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office, and various departments and agencies.

On June 21, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 3838-QD/TU on the merger of Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station into Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station. Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station will begin operations on July 1, 2025.

On June 26, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 3974-QD/TU on the transfer and appointment of Comrade Tran Minh Ngoc, Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station, to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station. The decision takes effect from July 1, 2025.

The following six comrades have been appointed as Deputy Editors-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station: Tran Van Hung - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; Tran Huu Nghia - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; Tran Thi Huyen - Deputy Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station; Nguyen Trung Thao - Deputy Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station; Phan Van Thang - Deputy Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station. The decision is effective from July 1, 2025.

At the ceremony, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - presented the decision and flowers to congratulate Comrade Tran Minh Ngoc - Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station, and 6 Deputy Editors-in-Chief.

In his remarks assigning the tasks, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - on behalf of the provincial leadership, congratulated the two agencies, Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station, on joining forces under the management of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

The merger of Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station into Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station is a sound policy, aiming to build a unified organization, streamline operations, and create a more efficient and powerful system.

Hoang Nghia Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, assessed that Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station are two media agencies with a long tradition of development and a wealth of achievements.

Overcoming initial difficulties, generations of officials, reporters, and staff of the two agencies have strived to fulfill their assigned political tasks throughout various periods. Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station have affirmed their position as top-tier media agencies nationwide, effective news and commentary organizations, and capable of partial financial self-sufficiency.

Hoang Nghia Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, assessed that Nghe An Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station are units with abundant staff, possessing sufficient capacity and experience.

Sharing the context and challenges facing press agencies in the coming period, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu suggested that the comrades in the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station pay attention to doing a good job of ideological work among cadres, Party members, officials, and workers to create high consensus in the implementation process, ensuring the regulations and policies are followed.

At the same time, we will build a democratic and scientific system, paying attention to maintaining unity and creating consensus within the agency. The Editor-in-Chief will assign tasks to the Deputy Editors-in-Chief according to their functions, duties, strengths, and experience, especially without differentiating between Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station.

Emphasizing that the newly appointed comrades are both honored and greatly responsible for their new positions, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Hoang Nghia Hieu, urged them to immediately begin their work, continuously improve their professional skills and expertise, leverage their strengths and experience to apply in their new roles, build upon the achievements of previous generations, and be dedicated, creative, decisive, and flexible in leadership and guidance to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Sharing the difficulties and challenges of the new media era, Comrade Tran Minh Ngoc stated that this requires each member of the Nghe An Newspaper and Radio-Television Station to make greater efforts, demonstrate determination, and adopt new approaches.

Newspapers and Radio and Television Stations in Nghe An must be the most official, responsive, timely, rich, and in-depth information channels, playing a leading role in guiding and shaping public opinion, best serving the province's political tasks and the information needs of people inside and outside the province.
