After discovering that Linh Chi orchestrated a spiritual charade with Thanh "the fool," Mrs. Tuyet decides to team up with Khang to prepare for a direct confrontation in episode 7 of Countdown Clock.
In the latest developments of the series "Countdown Clock," lawyer Khang officially uncovered Linh Chi's plot after following Thanh "the fool" back to his rented apartment. This discovery not only solidified Khang's position but also escalated the conflict between the characters to a new climax.
Conflicts arising from changes to the will.
The story begins when Ms. Tuyet suddenly changes her personality and wants to amend her current will. Notably, she no longer trusts Khang as before and chooses a rival lawyer in the same office to handle this matter. Sensing his personal interests are threatened, Khang decides to investigate the cause and begins following clues from "Teacher Luong with three eyes"—a mysterious man Ms. Tuyet recently met.
Khang asked Mrs. Tuyet to let him meet Master Luong, claiming he wanted a fortune-telling session. During this meeting, Master Luong, who appeared to have three eyes (actually Thanh in disguise), made vague predictions that worried Khang and simultaneously sowed seeds of doubt in Mrs. Tuyet's mind about her young lover.
Unbelievable evidence and an unexpected collaboration.
However, Khang revealed his cunning nature by deciding to ambush her after the meeting. After Mrs. Tuyet left, Khang secretly followed Thanh all the way to his residence. There, he photographed all the evidence of the meeting between Linh Chi and Thanh, thereby confirming that this spiritual charade was entirely orchestrated by Linh Chi to manipulate Mrs. Tuyet.
Immediately, Khang brought all the photographic and video evidence to Mrs. Tuyet. Discovering that she had been deceived by her stepson made Mrs. Tuyet extremely angry. In her rage, she decided to team up with Khang to plan her revenge against Linh Chi.
Meanwhile, Linh Chi has also realized that the plan has been exposed. The question is how she and Thanh will change their tactics to counter the alliance between Mrs. Tuyet and Khang in the upcoming developments.
