Break-ins at the ward committee office, thieves break open safe and steal hundreds of millions of dong.
Huynh Quoc Cuong (born in 2001) broke into the Tam Quan Ward People's Committee, broke open a safe, and stole over 210 million VND.
According to initial information, at around 7:00 AM on May 15th, officials from the Tam Quan Ward People's Committee Office in Hoai Nhon town (Binh Dinh province) discovered that the storage room, where the safe was located, showed signs of being broken into, and the lock on the safe was missing.
Upon inspection, the accounting department of Tam Quan ward discovered that the safe had been opened and approximately 210 million VND had been stolen, so they immediately reported it to the police.
Upon receiving the report, the Tam Quan Ward Police, in coordination with the local task force of the Criminal Police Department of Binh Dinh Provincial Police, quickly verified and clarified the incident.
Through investigation, it was determined that Huynh Quoc Cuong (residing in Tam Quan ward, Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh province) was the perpetrator of the theft and was summoned to the police station for questioning. Subsequently, the authorities quickly recovered all the stolen money; and simultaneously consolidated the case file for further investigation and processing.
