Dreame to unveil 1,000-horsepower electric supercar at CES 2026
Dreame, the robotic vacuum cleaner manufacturer, is venturing into the high-performance electric vehicle market with a 1,000-horsepower supercar that accelerates from 0-96.56 km/h in under 2 seconds and incorporates high-speed motor technology.
Following in the footsteps of Xiaomi's success, Dreame – a brand renowned for its robotic vacuum cleaners and high-end home appliances – has officially confirmed its plans to enter the electric vehicle market. Accordingly, the company's first electric supercar is expected to be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in January.
Inheriting DNA from high-speed engine technology.
Dreame's biggest differentiator from its competitors is its ability to research and manufacture its own electric motors. Currently, Dreame holds the record as the world's leading manufacturer of high-speed digital motors. High-end robot vacuums like the X50 Ultra are equipped with motors reaching 200,000 RPM, a figure certified by Frost & Sullivan as the world first.
Dreame asserts that it will fully leverage these R&D achievements to apply them to the powertrain of its upcoming electric supercar. The transition from appliance motors to high-performance automotive motors is expected to create a technological breakthrough for the company.

High performance and advanced cooling technology.
Based on initial leaks, the Dreame sports car boasts impressive specifications. It's designed with a total system power exceeding 1,000 horsepower. Acceleration from 0-96.56 km/h (0-60 mph) is expected to be completed in less than 2 seconds.
To maintain high-intensity performance, Dreame states that the vehicle's ultra-fast electric drivetrain and motor will be cooled using a special refrigerant. This technology helps maintain the operating temperature of core components within 15 degrees Celsius, ensuring stability and longevity for both the battery system and the motor.
Challenges in the electric supercar segment
Despite its impressive figures, the Dreame will face fierce competition from major players in the automotive industry. Recently, BYD made headlines with its new electric vehicle platform supporting 1-megawatt charging and an electric motor reaching speeds of 32,000 rpm. These specifications have helped BYD set new records for commercially produced vehicles.
The rapid entry of consumer electronics companies like Xiaomi and Dreame into the market and the introduction of high-performance models shortly after entering it demonstrates a structural shift in the global automotive industry. Dreame aims to make its upcoming model the world's fastest luxury car at launch, while also promising a premium interior and top-of-the-line technological amenities.
