Coach Park Hang Seo and his players had an easier time as Jordan suffered several injuries before their final match at the 2019 Asian Cup.
To prepare for their final match at the 2019 Asian Cup against Vietnam, the Jordan national team assembled early and played a warm-up match against Kuwait. In that match, coach Abu Abed's team won 1-0, but they faced problems with several injuries.

Key striker Hamzah Al-Dardour will definitely miss the match against Vietnam as he will need about two weeks to recover from an injury. Besides Hamzah Al-Dardour, several other Jordan players are also experiencing health issues, including Bani Yaseen, Al Bakheet, Aldumeiri, and Khattab.
Earlier, coach Abu Abed highly praised the strength of the Vietnamese national team and expressed his determination to win at home.
Regarding the Vietnamese national team, Coach Park Hang Seo's biggest concern is time; the players have to travel long distances and don't have much time to assemble the team.
For that reason, the South Korean coach decided to call up more than half of the squad from the Vietnam U23 team that recently performed successfully at the AFC U23 Asian Championship. According to the plan, the entire team will depart for Jordan on March 24th, and Coach Park Hang Seo's goal for his players is a victory.
