Message from the captain: be confident, respect your opponents.

Huynh Nhu shared: “The whole team is very confident and ready for the tournament. Everyone has settled into their accommodations, feels comfortable, and is eager to start training in Chonburi. This year, women's football in the region has undergone many changes, with all teams setting higher goals and preparing more thoroughly for the 33rd SEA Games.”

She emphasized the spirit of dedication and discipline: “The whole team has had a long preparation process and has just completed a successful training camp in Japan. This is an opportunity for the whole team to hone their tactics, physical fitness, and teamwork, ready for the upcoming matches.”

Regarding the opening match, the captain stated: “The team’s goal is to win three points. We respect every opponent but always aim for victory.”

Preparation phase: tactical training, maintaining physical fitness.

The focus during the pre-season training was maintained along two main axes: discipline and physical fitness. Following the coaching staff's instructions, players were required to maintain peak physical condition, minimize injury risks, and maintain high levels of concentration in all training situations. This context continued the team's long-term preparation following their training camp in Japan, which emphasized organization, tactical execution, and cohesion between the different lines of play.

The transition from training to the final practice session in Chonburi allows the team to thoroughly review their performance and adapt to the intensity of the league. The goal is to be ready for the demands of the opening match, where efficiency and focus often determine the direction of the entire campaign.

Squad depth: signals from the youth

Besides the core players, the young players have shown clear progress during the training camp and recent practice sessions. Huynh Nhu said: “The young players are improving very quickly and performing very well in Japan. Their integration adds depth and competitiveness to the team.”

With regional teams setting high goals and preparing thoroughly, squad depth is crucial for maintaining competition intensity at the SEA Games, especially given the often packed schedule and the need for consistent physical fitness.

Motivation from the audience

Before concluding the interview, the captain shared: "We hope the fans will continue to love and support us by coming to the stadium to cheer us on. That will be a great source of motivation for the whole team to give their best and win."
