(Baonghean.vn) - The friendly match between the Vietnam National Team and the Vietnam U22 team was only to test the new elements of Coach Park Hang-seo. However, the Vietnam U22 players had an extremely good match against their experienced seniors.
When the match had only been going on for 10 minutes, the Vietnamese team was forced to make a substitution when Ho Tuan Tai left the field after an injury and was replaced by striker Ha Duc Chinh.
The surprise happened at Cam Pha stadium when U22 Vietnam scored first. In the 21st minute, from a central attack, Huu Thang passed to Tran Van Dat who rushed down at full speed, defeating Tan Truong to open the score 1-0 for U22 Vietnam.
In the 26th minute, Xuan Cuong crossed from the left wing, the U22 Vietnam defender failed to block decisively and let the ball go to Duc Chinh. The striker wearing the number 18 shirt missed the chance but veteran Van Quyet was there in time to score the rebound into Van Toan's net.

In the 57th minute, Xuan Cuong's fast dribbling caused Van Toan to commit a foul in the penalty area, Vietnam was awarded a penalty and Xuan Truong scored from the 11m mark, equalizing 2-2 for Vietnam.
After a series of key players from the national team were sent onto the field, the Vietnamese team regained control of the game. At the end of the match, Pham Xuan Manh had another chance to head the ball but it went over the bar. And 3-2 was also the final score of the match. After this match, Coach Park Hang-seo had his initial assessments of the new elements in the national team as well as the U22 Vietnam players.
After the match, Coach Park Hang-seo shared: “The national team won 3-2 but conceded the first goal. This time, the starting lineup had many players who were called up to the national team for the first time. As for the result, the Vietnamese team conceded 2 goals. That was the problem.
We play 3-4-3, which means we have two midfielders. However, I changed the formation, with only one midfielder, more attacking and less central. The problem of the ball deployment needs to be solved. Every formation has its advantages and disadvantages. In case the opponent concentrates too many players in the middle, that is the problem we need to deal with."

Regarding U22 Vietnam, the Korean coach said: “U22 has just gathered, and this is the third short-term period. This is not the stage to improve the organization of U22, it is the stage to continue finding new players. We have reviewed the U21 tournament and found some new factors such as number 7 Van Dat, Cong Den.
The result of U22 this time is that the technique, tactics are not perfect, but they scored first. They have good spirit and will. Regarding the result, U22 met a much stronger team but still played well. The players have adapted to the playing style. This time, we have discovered some good players."
