In terms of living environment, Australia is one of the most livable countries in the world; always in the top countries in terms of happiness index, average life expectancy and environmental quality.

In terms of education quality, Australia is considered the most advanced and modern with degrees comparable to those of the UK and the US. This country offers a rich education system with more than 1,100 educational institutes and 22,000 programs. Australia also has many prestigious universities such as Sydney, RMIT, Melbourne... with teaching methods that focus on practice and stimulate creativity.

Attractive new policy for Australian international students

In early July, the Australian Department of Immigration updated a series of changes in policies for international students, which are considered to create the best conditions ever for Vietnamese students intending to enter school gates in Australia.

Specifically, Vietnam has just been upgraded to Level 1 in the Assessment Levels of the Australian Department of Immigration. This change helps increase the visa approval rate because the mechanisms and requirements for studying abroad are much more relaxed. In addition, Vietnamese students will be exempted from financial proof and English certificates if they pass the school's tests for some schools in Australia.

The part-time work policy has also been relaxed, with international students allowed to work 48 hours/2 weeks instead of just 40 hours previously. Here, international students can find legal part-time jobs that meet the minimum wage of about 21.38 AUD/hour (nearly 350,000 VND) to cover living expenses and gain work experience.

The Australian government has also decided to increase the working time for international students after graduation. Accordingly, students with a bachelor's degree will be allowed to stay and work for 4 years instead of 2 years, while the master's degree will increase from 3 to 5 years; for PhD, the working visa will increase from 4 to 6 years.

In addition, the list of priority occupations for settlement has also been updated, including the occupations of Engineering, Health and Medicine, Education, Information Technology and Hospitality.
