The expected highest cutoff score for Vinh University is 27.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Early Childhood Education major has the highest entrance exam score with 27 points. For this major, candidates can apply through two subject combinations: Mathematics – English – Aptitude or Mathematics – Literature – Aptitude (Aptitude score is multiplied by a factor of 2, with a minimum aptitude score of 5.50 points).

This is the projected score that was just approved by the Vinh University Admissions Council at a meeting on the morning of July 28th.

The second highest-scoring major is English Language Teaching, with an expected score of 24 points (based on three subjects: Mathematics, Literature, and English (English score is weighted by a factor of 2)).

The expected cutoff score for the Primary Education major is 22 points. This major also has a fairly diverse range of subject combinations for admission, including Literature – History – Geography, Mathematics – Literature – English, and Mathematics – Physics – Chemistry. For the remaining majors, the expected cutoff score is equal to the admission score of 15.5 points.

Specifically for the Early Childhood Education Department, due to the high entrance scores, Vinh University is also considering adjustments to create opportunities for candidates who did not get admitted to other teacher training programs, in order to ensure the rights of the candidates. Previously, statistics showed that although the Early Childhood Education program only had 120 places, over 800 candidates registered for the aptitude test.

Currently, the cutoff score for Vinh University has been basically approved. However, the score may be further adjusted based on the application submissions from other universities in the Northern region. With this score, it is expected that approximately 4000 out of 4900 applications to Vinh University will be accepted. In addition, the university also reserves quotas for candidates applying based on their academic transcripts. For the 2017-2018 academic year, Vinh University has 5000 enrollment slots.

According to the plan, Vinh University will announce the admission results on August 1st.
