Vietnam tourism aims for 1 quadrillion VND
Vietnam's tourism industry aims for revenue of VND1 trillion by 2025, focusing on service quality, green experiences and tourist benefits.
Vietnam's tourism industry is entering a period of strong development, affirming its role as a key economic sector. In 2025, the industry aims to welcome 22-23 million international visitors and 120-130 million domestic visitors, with revenue from VND980,000 to VND1,050,000 billion, aiming for the milestone of VND1 million billion.
Travelers today are not only concerned with price and amenities, but also value responsible experiences that are friendly to the environment and local communities.
The trend of “green tourism” and “responsible tourism” is becoming an important standard for the sustainable development of the entire industry.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has introduced the set of criteria "Enterprises for consumers" with five pillars: transparency, safety, responsibility, respect and sustainability, which are considered the guiding principles for tourism development.
In this area, businesses need to provide clear information on tour prices, service policies and ensure safety for tourists. In addition, establishing a transparent feedback system, minimizing environmental impacts and protecting tourism resources are mandatory requirements.
By implementing the above criteria well, businesses not only enhance brand reputation but also contribute to building a professional and trustworthy image of Vietnamese tourism.
Protecting tourists’ rights is considered a measure of the quality of tourism services. In Trang An (Ninh Binh), more than 400 households involved in community tourism have been trained in communication skills, handling situations and serving customers professionally.
Many localities such as Khanh Hoa and Quang Nam have also increased inspections and handled accommodation establishments that violate environmental and safety regulations, affirming their determination to improve tourism industry standards.
Tourist trust is the greatest asset created by transparency, dedication and responsibility in every experience. When businesses put consumers at the center, Vietnam's tourism industry will not only recover sustainably but also reach regional levels, becoming a safe, civilized and attractive destination in Asia.
