The world's largest cruise ship, Harmony of the Seas, is like a mobile resort at sea, offering world-class services.
In May, Royal Caribbean launched its newest ship, Harmony of the Seas. Harmony of the Seas is the third ship in the company's Oasis class, but it is larger than its two "sister ships," Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas (launched in 2009 and 2010, respectively).
With a length of 362 meters, a width of 66 meters, and a gross tonnage of 226,963 tons, Harmony has "stolen" the title of the world's largest cruise ship from its "sister ship" Allure of the Seas and become the largest multi-billion dollar ship in the world to date. The length of this cruise ship is even greater than the height of the Eiffel Tower (324 m), equivalent to the length of five Boeing 747s placed end-to-end.
This massive cruise ship has 18 decks and can carry 6,296 passengers and 2,384 crew members at a time. According to Royal Caribbean, this superyacht is equipped with three 25,000-horsepower engines, three Wärtsilä diesel generators with a power output of 18,600 horsepower, and three Azipod propeller systems.
