Sending 3 officers to participate in peacekeeping in Central Africa
Three officers, including Lieutenant Colonel Le Ngoc Son, Captain Dinh Duc Long, and Captain Ho Tien Hung, will depart for the UN peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic.

On April 7, at the Headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense, authorized by the President, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, presented the decision and assigned tasks to three officers of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Center, Ministry of National Defense, to depart for the UN peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic.
According to the President's decision, the three officers, including Lieutenant Colonel Le Ngoc Son, Captain Dinh Duc Long, and Captain Ho Tien Hung, who will be assigned to this assignment will work in three areas: Combat Staff Officer, Training Staff Officer, and Equipment Staff Officer.
On behalf of the Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam highly appreciated the results of the mission as well as the preparation work for the three officers to perform the UN peacekeeping mission in Central Africa.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam requested that Vietnamese peacekeeping officers thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the foreign policy of the Party, State and Army; strictly abide by the discipline of the Vietnam People's Army, the regulations of the UN Mission and the laws of the host country; and always preserve and build the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers.
