Nearly 300 more Vietnamese citizens brought back from Russia.
On December 4th and 5th, 2020, Vietnamese authorities, the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation, and Tre Viet Airlines coordinated with Russian authorities to bring nearly 300 Vietnamese citizens back home.
These include children under 18, the elderly, the sick, workers whose visas and employment contracts have expired, and graduating international students who have no place to stay due to school and dormitory closures.

To ensure the successful organization of the planned flight, the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation closely coordinated with local authorities to assist with procedures and facilitate citizens' travel to the airport; and dispatched staff to the airport to directly assist citizens during the boarding process.
Throughout the flight, passengers and the entire crew strictly adhered to regulations on disease prevention and control and epidemiological hygiene. All passengers were also quarantined and underwent medical checks as required upon landing at Cam Ranh airport.
