Dubai Marina: inside Ciel 365m, Dubai's tallest hotel.
Ciel Dubai Marina, 365 meters tall and with 82 floors, opened on November 15th with 1,004 rooms; its all-glass facade offers panoramic views of Dubai, and it features two infinity pools; prices start from $350 per night, with Tattu on the 74th floor.
Ciel Dubai Marina, which opened its doors on November 15th, stands 365 meters tall with 82 floors and 1,004 guest rooms, likened to a "glass needle" reaching towards the sky. Located on the edge of Dubai and the Arabian Gulf, the hotel offers unparalleled views, from the coastline to the city's iconic skyline.
Open the Dubai sky from the inside.
Upon entering the lobby, natural light floods in through large windows, and the soft color palette and light-colored wood create a relaxing atmosphere. According to Ayaz Zakir of Khaleej Times, “what lies before us is a resort in the sky, a convergence of light, views, and height.”
The elevator travels an average of about two floors per second, so in just over 30 seconds, you'll be on the 70th floor. From the corridors, you can see the Burj Al Arab tower standing out against the blue ocean, planes parked along the shore, and cars on the streets – a rare, multi-dimensional view of Dubai.
The all-glass facade lets in plenty of light to every room. The minimalist interior features beige, white, and gray tones. Upon waking, the windows open to not only the city skyline, but also the sensation of Dubai in motion right before your eyes.
Two infinity pools and spectacular viewpoints.
Ciel Dubai Marina features two infinity pools: one overlooking the cluster of skyscrapers, the other facing the Blue Water tourist island and the Ain Dubai Ferris wheel. "The views from the two pools are so high that you suddenly forget about the city below," Ayaz Zakir remarked.
The gym is open 24 hours and offers skyline views. The spa on the 61st floor is expected to open next year, adding another option for relaxation after a long day exploring the city.
Cuisine: from ramen and dim sum to Mediterranean.
The complex features eight dining options offering a diverse selection ranging from pastries, ramen, and dim sum to Mediterranean cuisine. A highlight is Tattu restaurant – a renowned Asian culinary brand from London – now available in Dubai, located on the 74th floor.

Regarding the title "highest"
The Ciel Tower at Dubai Marina is expected by the media and architectural community to dethrone the "world's tallest freestanding hotel" upon its official opening, based on the planning documents and design specifications released by The First Group. The goal is to surpass the current record held by Gevora (in Dubai), which stands at 356.3 meters tall.
As CN Traveller noted, this is more than just a place to stay overnight: Ciel Dubai Marina is an experience worth trying at least once – a testament to how Dubai conquers the boundaries of height and luxury.
