Germany rejects Trump's proposal on defense spending standards

German Economy Minister Robert Habeck has rejected US President-elect Donald Trump's proposal for NATO members to increase defense spending to 5% of GDP. In an interview with the Funke media group published on January 9, Habeck called the target "unrealistic."
