Dune keypad: Adds 3 smart AI macro buttons to MacBook Air and Pro.
Dune is a 50g detachable keyboard accessory with three buttons that automatically adapt their function to the application currently open on macOS. Integrated with artificial intelligence, the device simplifies complex tasks through a system of customizable macros and scripts.
Project Mirage has just introduced Dune, an ultra-compact detachable keyboard accessory designed specifically for MacBook Air and MacBook Pro users. The device's breakthrough feature lies in its system of three large macro buttons that can dynamically change function based on the application currently displayed on the screen, optimizing professional workflows.

Artificial intelligence optimizes user interaction.
Unlike conventional macro keyboards that only perform fixed assigned commands, Dune is marketed as integrating artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the user experience. The accompanying software can automatically analyze the tasks most frequently used by the user in a particular application, and then automatically assign them to physical buttons.
For example, when a user opens Finder, the buttons can be transformed into copy and paste commands. In the Zoom online meeting application, they support quickly accepting or ending video calls. With Notion, these buttons can open new tabs or mark a project as complete. This flexibility helps users avoid having to memorize too many complex keyboard shortcuts.

Minimalist design and deep customization options.
The Dune boasts a premium aluminum casing, weighs only 50 grams, and has physical dimensions of 40 x 10 x 10 mm. The device connects directly via the USB-C port on the left side of the MacBook, allowing users to operate it naturally with their left hand without having to move away from the main keyboard area.
In addition to AI automation features, the device also supports a system of custom macros and scripts. Users can create their own commands, share them, or download pre-made command sets from an integrated store within the management application. Notably, Dune is currently only compatible with macOS and does not yet have official support for Windows or Linux.
