'Under the banner of glory': Connecting the past, present, and future in emotion and pride.
The program "Under the Glorious Banner" - an epic political and artistic performance expressing patriotism, the aspiration for peace, and the fortitude of generations of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army throughout the country's history.

On the evening of August 9th, the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, in coordination with the Hanoi City Party Committee, the Hue City Party Committee, and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, organized a televised program on political and artistic commentary titled "Under the Glorious Banner," to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, attended the event via video link from Hanoi. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended via video link from Hue City. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended via video link from Ho Chi Minh City.

Also attending from the Hanoi location were the following members of the Politburo: Tran Cam Tu, Standing Member of the Secretariat; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee; Le Minh Hung, Secretary of the Central Committee and Head of the Central Organization Department; Nguyen Hoa Binh, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission and Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Minister of Public Security; Nguyen Xuan Thang, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council and Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy; Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee; and Nguyen Van Nen, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Attending the event at three locations in Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City were former members of the Politburo, Secretaries of the Central Committee of the Party, members of the Central Committee of the Party, former members of the Central Committee of the Party, leaders of central and local departments, ministries, and agencies, armed forces, veterans; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, meritorious individuals; representatives of political and social organizations, businesses, and a large number of people.

The program features timeless anthems reimagined and staged in a modern style, combining symphonic music, light music, rock, rap, and contemporary dance, with the participation of many music stars from within and outside the military, connecting the past, present, and future. All of this creates a multi-layered artistic space where the audience not only watches but also lives in history, experiencing emotions and pride.

The program affirms the steadfastness, resilience, courage, and willingness to endure hardship of generations of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army throughout history, always ready to fight and sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people. Under the glorious banner, the Vietnam People's Army has always been the vanguard force, a solid bulwark, a sharp sword, and a firm pillar of faith for the Party, the country, and the people.

The beauty of our homeland today is shaped by the historical traditions and millennia-old cultural heritage of our nation; by the sacrifices of countless generations of courageous officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army who fought "Under the glorious banner" with unwavering faith.
