Football betting ring with transactions of 300 billion VND discovered
While serving a suspended sentence for gambling, a man in Thanh Hoa set up a large-scale football betting ring.

After a period of investigation, on January 12, Thanh Hoa City Police (Thanh Hoa) dismantled a gambling group in the form of football betting on the Internet with a transaction amount of more than 300 billion VND.
Pham Quan Dung (40 years old), residing in Thanh Hoa city, is the leader of this ring, along with 11 others, who are being criminally detained.The seized exhibits were 17 mobile phones and some related evidence.
Police allege that two months ago Dung began setting up a website and colluding with many other "juniors" residing in many districts of Thanh Hoa to set up a football betting ring.
At the time of his arrest, Dung was serving a suspended sentence for gambling.
