Railways stimulate demand with ticket prices starting from 10,000 VND.

From October 1st, Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) will implement measures to stimulate demand and reduce ticket prices after the summer of 2017.

Specifically, starting September 26th, VNR will offer 10,000 discounted tickets ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 VND for passengers traveling by train between October 1st and December 27th on all routes.

Therefore, during the three months of October - December 2017, thousands of passengers will be able to purchase cheap tickets, selected randomly by the system on the VNR website.

Besides the low-fare program, VNR is currently offering discounts of up to 30% compared to Summer 2017 fares and maintaining a series of discount programs for policy beneficiaries and other groups (discounts for passengers purchasing individual tickets in advance, discounts for group purchases, discounts for tour guides, etc.).

Specifically, to promote the implementation of the "Year for the Benefit of Union Members," VNR is offering a 5% discount on individual tickets for union members and a 7-10% discount for group tickets (10 or more people). The discount period lasts until December 27, 2017.
