Driver in Nghe An fined 35 million VND for testing positive for drugs.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, Bui Thanh An, signed a decision to impose administrative penalties on Mr. LVH (born in 1986), residing in Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district.
The penalty decision dated April 14th clearly states that Mr. LVH was driving a car with license plate 37H-070.xx while under the influence of drugs (the drug test results were positive).

For this offense, Mr. LVH was fined 35 million VND in accordance with Point c, Clause 11, Article 6 of Government Decree 168/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024; and Clause 4, Article 23 of the Law on Handling Administrative Violations (amended and supplemented in 2020).
In addition, Mr. LVH was stripped of his Class FC driver's license for a period of 23 months from the date the decision takes effect.
