The main roads in Thai Hoa town are in serious disrepair.
The main arterial road in Thai Hoa town, which received an investment of 300 billion VND, is severely degraded, not only affecting urban aesthetics but also posing numerous traffic safety risks.
Observations show that the road through Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town, despite being designed to be wide and connecting to urban areas and bustling business districts, has many sections over 400 meters long that are currently in serious disrepair. The road surface is peeling, with many large potholes, posing a danger to road users.

Mr. Tran Van Tam, a local resident, shared: "There have been many cases of motorcyclists, speeding and not noticing the potholes in time, falling. We hope the authorities will repair this road soon."

This road is part of the main arterial road project in the Thai Hoa new urban area's transportation infrastructure system, with the Thai Hoa Town People's Committee as the investor, and construction started in October 2009. Initially, the project had a length of 2.05 km, but it was later reduced to 1.95 km due to overlapping with the road at the beginning of Hieu 2 Bridge. The total construction cost was nearly 300 billion VND, mobilized from the central government budget, the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, and Thai Hoa Town.

In 2021, over 500 meters of this road were repaired and upgraded in severely damaged sections. However, after only three years, the deterioration has recurred. Given this situation, residents hope that the authorities will quickly repair the damaged road to ensure traffic safety.
