The production team of VTV's 'King of Vietnamese' apologizes.
The production team of "King of Vietnamese" broadcast on VTV has issued an apology for an error in the program aired on November 29, 2024.
On their official fan page, the producers of the "King of Vietnamese Language" program apologized for the graphic design error in the broadcast on November 29th.
"We sincerely apologize for the graphic error that occurred in the program."King of the Vietnamese LanguageIt aired on Friday, November 29, 2024. In question number 1 during the studio recording, we saw the following question:
How many spelling errors are there in the sentence?"The sun shone brightly on the riverbank, a peaceful and expansive afternoon. The time was perfect for romantic words, but among the crowd, Hau and I sat silently, occasionally glancing at each other."
The player's answer was 3 spelling errors. This is a correct answer, with the errors: Rải, dờ, nghồi. The player received points for this question.
However, in reality, the audience noticed that the word "rực dở" (brilliant/radiant) was misspelled in the passage. The correct answer should have been "rực rỡ" (brilliant/glorious). Yet, the contestant didn't notice this mistake and still scored points.
The program explained that due to a data loading error, the question was displayed incorrectly during broadcast. This was an editorial mistake and did not affect the contestants' results. They apologized and pledged to correct the error on all digital systems and in the rerun.
"We sincerely apologize to our viewers and contestants for the aforementioned error. We will immediately correct it on the digital systems and in the reruns of the program, and we plan to adjust the program content to enhance the enjoyment of the Vietnamese game and provide our viewers with a better experience. The editorial team looks forward to continuing to receive your contributions and feedback so that the program can become even better," the production team stated.
Previously, in episode 28 aired in 2023, the programKing of the Vietnamese LanguageA mistake was made when asking a question to choose between "trậm trễ" and "chậm chễ". After the contestant chose "chậm chễ", MC Xuân Bắc confirmed the answer was correct, but the audience noticed this was a spelling error as only "chậm trễ" exists in Vietnamese.
The program later responded and clarified that "delay" was the correct answer.
