The youngest sister of Cuban President Fidel Castro has passed away.
Agustina del Carmen Castro Ruz, the youngest sister of Cuban President Raul Castro, passed away in Cuba on March 26th at the age of 78.

According to AP on March 27, Agustina Castro passed away in a hospital in Havana due to complications from recent surgery to treat a fractured hip, according to her sister Juanita Castro.
Juanita said that Agustina's health had deteriorated over the past year. Agustina is the youngest of seven siblings in the Castro family, which includes two Cuban leaders: the late Fidel Castro and President Raul Castro.
Unlike her famous brothers, Agustina never held any position in government and maintained a quiet life until the end.
The family cremated her remains and placed them in the family crypt in northern Cuba, reuniting her with her siblings, Ramon and Angelita.
Leader Fidel Castro passed away in November 2016 at the age of 90. President Raul Castro is preparing to celebrate his 86th birthday this coming June.
