The EU is predicted to collapse due to the mistakes of one of its founding countries.
(Baonghean.vn) - Of all the dangers, Germany poses the greatest threat to the European Union (EU), according to journalist Moritz Enders, who writes the Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten (DWN) column.
In his opinion, in the future, separatist forces will begin to dominate the European Union, due to the influence of the US, Russia, and China. At the same time, Enders urged people not to forget the geopolitical plans of the United Kingdom, which recently left the EU. The journalist noted that London's recent foreign policy is increasingly less aligned with the interests of a unified Europe.

However, as observers note, despite external challenges, the greatest threat to the European Union comes from "the bloc's failed security and energy policies."
An article published in DWN magazine states that this policy could lead to the deindustrialization of the EU's economic powerhouse, Germany. "Up to 6 million jobs could be lost in this country," the author predicts.
The history of the European Union began in 1951 with the formation of the European Coal and Steel Community, established by six countries – Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
