On either side of the car, the classic NACA air intakes are recreated with carbon fiber trim, combined with a strong horizontal crease that extends all the way to the rear. The most iconic detail – the F40's massive fixed rear wing – is still present on the SC40, albeit in a more compact size and more seamlessly integrated into the overall design. On the engine cover, Ferrari has cleverly recreated the characteristic transparent Lexan grille, situated between the two muscular rear wheel arches. The rear borrows taillights from the 296 GTB, a choice that might be controversial for purists, as the classic four-round taillight cluster would perhaps give a more "true F40" feel. The entire body is clad in the exclusive Bianco SC40 white paint, paired with two-tone wheels and the traditional gold prancing horse logo.

The custom-designed bucket seats feature an embroidered SC40 logo and are upholstered in red Jacquard fabric, contrasting sharply with the charcoal gray Alcantara, creating a space that is both distinctly racing-inspired and sophisticated.

Although lacking the characteristic roar and pure mechanical feel of a V8 engine, the hybrid powertrain offers undeniable advantages in performance. The instantaneous torque from the electric motor allows the car to accelerate quickly, while also filling in the turbo lag, resulting in an exhilarating and efficient driving experience. Although Ferrari has not released official figures, the SC40's performance is predicted to be comparable to or slightly better than the 296 GTB, which already boasts a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 2.9 seconds.
