New Ford EcoSport launched in Vietnam, no price yet

The new EcoSport is a product that marks Ford's 20th anniversary of production in Vietnam. This is one of the car lines that contributes a lot to the overall sales of the American car company in Vietnam. The new version has changes in exterior, interior and upgraded amenities, and has 2 new engine options, promising to increase competitiveness in the segment.

The exterior of the Ford EcoSport has a sporty, dynamic appearance. The front of the car is designed with a honeycomb grille, combined with chrome trim (Titanium version) or silver paint (Trend version).

EcoSport creates a highlight with a large spare wheel cover at the rear of the car, giving the feeling of a powerful, off-road SUV. The strong embossed hood is typical of American cars.

Meanwhile, the interior of the new generation EcoSport has been redesigned, more carefully than before, with many upgraded functions and utilities. The new features are more user-oriented and focus on passengers.

The dashboard is equipped with an 8-inch touch screen, the SYNC 3 system is also equipped on this SUV. This system allows the driver to make hands-free calls, give voice commands with other entertainment and information features in the car.

The new EcoSport is equipped with MyKey technology, which helps the driver set up a number of features according to their own needs such as maximum speed warning, fuel warning, seat belt warning... This SUV is equipped with a camera system, combined with sensors to support reversing. On high-end versions, EcoSport is also equipped with the Auto Start Stop feature.

In this launch, Ford offers 2 engine options for EcoSport including EcoBoost 1.0L and Dragon 1.5L, with 5-speed manual and 6-speed hydraulic automatic transmission options.

This model has been on the market since March this year. In 2017, Ford EcoSport sold a total of 3,977 vehicles, becoming Ford's third best-selling vehicle and leading the urban SUV segment.
