The new Ford EcoSport has been launched in Vietnam, but the price has not yet been announced.
The Ford EcoSport offers a choice of 1.0L Ecoboost and 1.5L Dragon engines, along with numerous exterior changes and upgraded interior features for greater comfort.
The new EcoSport marks Ford's 20th anniversary in Vietnam. It's one of the models that contributes significantly to the American automaker's overall sales in Vietnam. The new version features exterior and interior redesigns, upgraded amenities, and two new engine options, promising increased competitiveness in its segment.

The exterior of the Ford EcoSport has a sporty and dynamic look. The front of the car is designed with a honeycomb grille, combined with chrome trim (Titanium version) or silver paint (Trend version).
The EcoSport is highlighted by a large spare wheel cover at the rear, giving it the feel of a powerful, off-road SUV. The hood features a robust, embossed design characteristic of American cars.
Meanwhile, the interior of the new-generation EcoSport has been redesigned, with more attention to detail than before, and upgraded with many functions and amenities. The new features are more user-oriented and focus on passengers as well.

The dashboard features an 8-inch touchscreen display, and the SYNC 3 system is also included in this SUV. This system allows drivers to make hands-free calls and use voice commands for entertainment and other information features in the vehicle.
The new EcoSport is equipped with MyKey technology, allowing drivers to customize several features to their individual needs, such as maximum speed warnings, fuel level warnings, and seatbelt reminders. This SUV features a camera system combined with sensors to assist with reversing. On higher-end versions, the EcoSport also comes with an Auto Start Stop function.

At this launch, Ford offers two engine options for the EcoSport: the 1.0L EcoBoost and the 1.5L Dragon, with a choice of a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed hydraulic automatic transmission.
This model has been on the market since March of this year. In 2017, Ford EcoSport sold a total of 3,977 vehicles, making it Ford's third best-selling model and the leader in the urban SUV segment.
