New version of Ford EcoSport costs 654 million VND

The American automaker has just released the EcoSport Titanium Black Edition from its factory in Hai Duong province.

The EcoSport Titanium Black Edition has a number of exterior design changes and additions.

This is a version developed from the high-end Titanium version that has been available in the Vietnamese market since mid-2014.

The EcoSport Titanium Black Edition has a number of exterior design changes and additions. These include a sporty decal set, details such as the grille, mirror caps, alloy wheels and roof rack painted in glossy black.

The interior maximizes headroom and knee room for passengers. This version is designed by Ford with 20 storage compartments for increased convenience, including a storage compartment that can hold 6 cans of cold water.

The rear seats are more flexible than previous versions with the ability to recline or fold to increase the cargo capacity to 705 liters, which can fit a washing machine.

EcoSport Titanium Black Edition uses a 1.5-liter Duratec Ti-VCT 4-cylinder gasoline engine, maximum capacity of 110 horsepower at 6,300 rpm, maximum torque of 140 Nm at 4,400 rpm. The Titanium Black Edition version is supplemented by the American car company with the E20 mixed fuel support function, which is fully compatible with the new Vietnamese standard E5 Ron 92. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic.

The car is equipped with a smart key system and keyless entry. This function allows the user to open the car door by pulling the door handle and start it with a button without inserting a key.

SYNC voice control and intelligent connectivity technology continues to be a notable feature in this urban SUV. SYNC is now available in 15 million Ford vehicles worldwide and it is estimated that there will be more than 43 million vehicles equipped with SYNC by the end of 2020.

The Ford SYNC system helps drivers keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road while still being able to select their favorite music from devices connected via Bluetooth or USB and make phone calls via voice commands.

EcoSport Titanium Black Edition is manufactured at Ford Hai Duong factory and has been available on the market since September 2016 with a retail price of 654 million VND.
