The 2016 Ford Everest starts at US$49,700 in Malaysia.
The new generation SUV model has made its debut in Malaysia, available in two variants: Trent and Titanium.
First unveiled at the Bangkok Motor Show in March 2015, the 2016 Ford Everest has finally arrived in Malaysia after more than a year. Here, the 2016 Everest is sold in two versions: the 2.2 Trent 2WD and the 3.2 Titanium AWD, priced at approximately US$49,700 to US$64,500 respectively.

The Everest Trent 2WD is equipped with a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder Duratorq TDCi engine producing 160 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque at 1,600-2,500 rpm. The Titanium version, however, uses a 3.2-liter 5-cylinder Duratorq TDCi engine delivering 200 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm. Both models feature a 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.
The new generation Everest boasts a distinctly American look with large headlights and a robust build. The grille hints at the engine's power. It features HID headlights, LED daytime running lights, aluminum front and rear bumpers, and a large hexagonal chrome grille.
Inside, there are some differences between the two versions. Standard equipment includes a dual-zone automatic climate control system, cruise control, front and rear fog lights, roof rails, and a manually adjustable 2-way passenger seat.
In the top-of-the-line version, Ford equips the Everest Titanium with a Terrain Management System (TMS) with four different driving modes (Road, Sand, Snow, and Rock) and an electric rear differential lock.

The 2015 Everest features a 7-seat interior and a spacious cargo area, with a capacity of 2,010 liters when the second and third rows of seats are folded down. It also includes the latest version of the Sync 2 connectivity system, voice recognition, and an 8-inch touchscreen.
In addition, Ford has equipped the Everest with features such as cornering control, blind spot information system (BLIS), rollover control, electronic stability control combined with traction control, and a parking assist system. The 2015 Everest also comes with 7 airbags.
In Vietnam, the new generation Ford Everest, imported from Thailand, is sold in 3 versions, priced from 1.25 billion to 1.63 billion VND.
