On the morning of April 5th, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Nghi Loc District Police issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, indict the suspect, and order the temporary detention of Dinh Van Thong (born in 1998), a security guard at a company in Nam Cam Industrial Park, residing in Block 8, Quan Hanh town, for the crime of theft.

Previously, at 7 PM on March 30, 2017, the Nghi Loc District Police received a report from Mr. Hoang Van Cuong (born in 1961), residing in Block 6, Quan Hanh Town, stating that his family had just been burglarized, with thieves stealing one mobile phone and one wallet containing 1.87 million VND.

Upon receiving the report, the Nghi Loc Police dispatched a task force to verify the information and identify the suspect. Through this investigation, Dinh Van Thong emerged as a suspect with many suspicious behaviors.

On April 3rd, the investigating agency summoned Dinh Van Thong for questioning. Initially, he was evasive. However, with compelling evidence, Dinh Van Thong had to confess to all his crimes.

Accordingly, at 6:30 PM on March 30th, the suspect walked to Mr. Cuong's house. Upon arrival, Thong climbed over the fence and broke into the family's bedroom. Taking advantage of the lack of supervision, the suspect stole the property as Mr. Cuong had reported, and took it home to hide it.

During the expanded investigation, Dinh Van Thong confessed that from the beginning of 2016 until now, he had committed 11 acts of theft at companies in the Nam Cam Industrial Park and households in Quan Hanh Town. The stolen property included: 3 mobile phones and 4 leather wallets containing a total of 37 million VND in cash.

The case is currently under investigation by the police./.
