Le Quy Nho, the thief who stole property from a family almost naked, turned himself in and confessed to the police about the crime.
The Hai Ba Trung District Police (Hanoi) announced that the Criminal Investigation Team has successfully persuaded Le Quy Nho (born in 1962, from Hung Yen province), a man who broke into a house and stole property while almost naked, to surrender.
Three weeks earlier, on September 30th, the Pham Dinh Ho Ward Police Station in Hai Ba Trung District received a report from a resident on Nguyen Trung Ngan Street regarding a burglary at their home.theft of property.
The local police, in coordination with relevant units, determined that the value of the stolen property was approximately over 25 million VND. Notably, through the extraction of camera footage, authorities noted that the intruder was almost naked when stealing the property.

After identifying the suspect as Le Quy Nho, the Hai Ba Trung District Police urged him to surrender.
According to Nho's confession, because his security guard job provided an unstable income, he conceived the idea of stealing. From around August 2024, Nho "scouted" vulnerable houses, looking for opportunities to commit theft. On the night of September 29th, after finishing his shift, Nho went to the Hang Chuoi - Nguyen Trung Ngan street area and climbed onto rooftops, trying to break in.

Upon discovering an unlocked attic door on the second floor of a house, Nho climbed inside. Prior to this, the thief had stripped off his clothes, wearing only underwear for ease of movement and escape if discovered. Nho ransacked the house, taking 9 million dong and a mobile phone, leaving behind a laptop and camera as they were difficult to carry.
After committing the crime, the thief returned to his rented room on Quan Thanh Street, Ba Dinh District, and then fled to his hometown in Hung Yen. On October 21st, knowing that he had been discovered by the police, Nho turned himself in.
