Airing on VTV3 and VTV's digital platforms during the Year of the Horse, this year's program continues its mission of spreading positive energy through the message "Laugh for a bright new year."

This year's program features four short plays with diverse themes, reflecting real-life stories in contemporary society: "Romeo & Juliet (Hang Phen Street)", "Easy Job, High Pay", "Unforgettable Moments", and "Rent-a-Tet Holiday". Each script is a slice of life with its own unique flavor, combining sharp satire with gentle, heartwarming messages.

The highlight of the 2026 Comedy Gala is the participation of numerous famous artists from both North and South Vietnam. According to the production team, the program brings together veteran artists along with the currently popular young actors.
The list of participating artists includes: People's Artist Hong Van, Meritorious Artist Quang Thang, Meritorious Artist Thai Son, Meritorious Artist Oc Thanh Van, Trung Ruoi, Duy Nam, Hua Minh Dat, Lam Vy Da, Thanh Huong, Le Ba Anh, Ho Lien, Ly Chi Huy, Chu Cuong, Luu Huyen Trang, Thuong Cin, Kim Dao, Tieu Minh Phung, Hoang Khoi, Khoi Nguyen, and Tuan Dung. In addition, the program also features singers Minh Quan and Ha Mio.
