Gala 'Heart for Children': Looking back at 17 years of journey for Vietnamese children

The "Heart for Children" Gala program, themed "Harmonizing Hearts," will be broadcast at 8:10 PM on November 27th on VTV1, marking the 17th anniversary of one of the most influential charitable programs in Vietnam.

A 17-year journey to revive heartbeats.

Over the past 17 years, the "Heart for Children" program has given nearly 7,600 children a chance at life through successful surgeries. In addition, the program has organized screenings for nearly 190,000 children and raised over 250 billion VND from community contributions.

From its early days, "Heart for Children" has grown into a sustainable fund, reaching thousands of families across the country, becoming a support system for underprivileged child patients.

A new milestone in its 18th year.

Entering its 18th year of operation, "Heart for Children" marks a new milestone in its development. The program will expand its scope of support to include more medical conditions, while also raising the age of beneficiaries and increasing the level of assistance. This change reflects the aspiration to heal even more Vietnamese children, ensuring that no child is left behind.

With the theme "Harmonizing Hearts," the event is seen as a symphony of faith and hope, where each melody and each story tells of the journey of revival for little hearts.

The program is also a heartfelt tribute to the millions of compassionate hearts that have been with us for the past 17 years, transforming small contributions into miracles in life. At the same time, it is a call to the community to continue spreading humanitarian values, connecting with and promptly referring those in need of assistance.
