The latest information suggests that the Galaxy S26 Plus will have a 6.9-inch screen, the same size as the Ultra version, along with Qi2 magnetic charging and an upgraded 12MP telephoto camera.
According to a leak from Tech Informer, Samsung appears to be planning significant changes to the Galaxy S26 series, especially the Plus version. This information refutes previous predictions that Samsung's next-generation flagship would not offer many breakthroughs.
Experience Ultra on the Plus version?
The most notable change is that the Galaxy S26 Plus is rumored to have a screen size of up to 6.9 inches, matching the size of the top-of-the-line S26 Ultra. If this information is accurate, it would be a significant change from the 6.7-inch size of its predecessors. This could offer users a similar wide display experience to the Ultra series but at a more accessible price.
A worthwhile upgrade in charging and camera.
Besides the display, the leak also confirms the presence of the Qi2 wireless charging standard. This means the Galaxy S26 series will integrate a magnetic ring, similar to MagSafe on iPhones, allowing users to use magnetic charging accessories without needing third-party cases.
