Galaxy S26 Ultra leaked real-life photos: Breakthrough f/1.4 aperture and new Snapdragon chip.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra reveals impressive photography capabilities with a 200MP sensor and f/1.4 aperture, promising superior performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.
Samsung is expected to officially launch its flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra in the early morning of February 26th (Vietnam time). Just before the event, leaked images, allegedly taken with the device, have surfaced, offering a detailed look at the photographic capabilities of the company's top-of-the-line phone in 2026.
The actual photography capabilities of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Content creator Sahil Karoul recently shared a series of photos on the social media platform X, allegedly taken with the Galaxy S26 Ultra's camera. The photos include various subjects, from still lifes like fruits and vegetables in a supermarket, flowers and plants, to portraits. Notably, when compared directly to its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the images from the new model show significantly better brightness and sharpness, especially in challenging lighting conditions.

Hardware improvements: Wider aperture for better low-light photography.
Although there are no official specifications from Samsung, leaked sources indicate that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a lens system with a larger aperture. Specifically, the 200MP main camera is expected to be upgraded to an f/1.4 aperture (compared to f/1.7 on the previous generation). Meanwhile, the 5x zoom lens is also expected to be improved with an f/2.9 aperture instead of f/3.4.
Widening the aperture allows the sensor to capture more light, thereby improving the quality of night shots, reducing noise, and enhancing natural background separation in portrait photos.

Superior performance with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
In terms of internal specifications, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset globally. This is a significant upgrade over the chip in the S25 Ultra, promising smoother AI and graphics processing. The device retains its 5,000 mAh battery, but wired fast charging has been upgraded to 60W, from the previous 45W.
