Game show 'Who is AI?': Tran Thanh challenges stars with AI clones
The TV show 'Who is Who?', a Vietnamese version from Thailand, will air on HTV7, putting famous artists in a confrontation with their own digital copies.
Technology game show first appeared in Vietnam
A new TV show called "Who is Who?" hosted by MC Tran Thanh is about to be released to the audience, promising to bring a unique format where celebrities have to face and compete with a doppelganger version of themselves created by technology. This is a Vietnamese version of the game show "2FACES" that once attracted attention in Thailand.
The program's format focuses on the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of increasingly developing technology. MC Tran Thanh raises the core question: "AI is getting smarter, how long will it take for you to be replaced? If your face, voice or secret is copied by AI, what will you do?".
Vietnamese stars face off against unpredictable "copycats"
"Who is AI?" brings together famous artists from many fields such as Thanh Lam, My Linh, Bang Kieu, Minh Tuyet, Dong Nhi, Minh Hang and Toc Tien. They will face for the first time highly realistic simulated AI versions, capable of displaying unexpected behaviors and reactions.

In the introductory video, the audience witnessed dramatic situations: the AI copy of singer Van Mai Huong could sing exactly like the original and challenged her to a duet. The AI version of diva My Linh could recount the singer's childhood memories in detail.
Behind these AI clones are real people, supported by technology to transform into twin versions of guest artists, the producer said.
The role of MC Tran Thanh
As a host, Tran Thanh not only coordinates the program but also directly participates in the situations. When meeting singer Hari Won, he humorously assumed that she was an AI version because of her strange appearance and asked her to kiss her twice to confirm.

Sharing about the program, Tran Thanh expressed his interest in the psychological element when technology is used to "compete" with the human brain. "I believe that no matter how smart AI is, it still cannot copy or replace the human soul," he said.
The program "WHO is Who?" is scheduled to air at 8:30 p.m. every Friday, starting from October 24 on channel HTV7.
