For the medium-voltage grid, they had also restored 4,961 substations and 155 damaged power lines.

"In the former Vinh City area alone, about 90% of customers have had their electricity restored," said Mr. Pham Van Nga, Deputy Director of Nghe An Power Company, adding that Typhoon No. 10, which hit Nghe An, caused heavy damage to people's property and severely damaged the power grid system. Currently, the entire power sector, along with Nghe An Power Company, is mobilizing all resources to repair the power grid throughout Nghe An province after Typhoon No. 10. Leaders of the Northern Power Corporation and Nghe An Power Company have divided into numerous working groups to directly monitor and supervise the situation on-site, encouraging and motivating staff to restore the power grid and restore electricity supply as quickly as possible to serve the people.

"More than 1,000 officials and employees from the electricity sector have been divided into teams to go to each locality to fix the problems, including many reinforcement teams from the northern provinces. However, the repair work is facing many difficulties, as many areas in Nghe An province are still deeply submerged in floodwaters. We expect that the earliest we can basically fix the problems and restore electricity to all customers is October 6th," Mr. Pham Van Nga added.
