Nearly 60% of customers in Nghe An have had their electricity restored.
According to statistics from Nghe An Power Company, as of the afternoon of October 1st, nearly 630,000 out of 1.1 million customers had their electricity restored. In the former Vinh City area alone, approximately 90% of customers have had their electricity restored.

According to leaders of Nghe An Power Company, as of early afternoon on October 1st, the unit had repaired and restored power to nearly 630,000 customers out of a total of nearly 1.1 million customers in Nghe An province. Three days after Typhoon No. 10, for the 110kV power grid, Nghe An Power Company had restored 16 out of 16 substations and 41 out of 41 damaged power lines. For the medium-voltage grid, they had also restored 4,961 substations and 155 damaged power lines.
"In the former Vinh City area alone, about 90% of customers have had their electricity restored," said Mr. Pham Van Nga, Deputy Director of Nghe An Power Company, adding that Typhoon No. 10, which hit Nghe An, caused heavy damage to people's property and severely damaged the power grid system. Hundreds of power poles were broken, many kilometers of power lines were severed, and many substations were damaged.

Currently, the entire power sector, along with Nghe An Power Company, is mobilizing all resources to repair the power grid throughout Nghe An province after Typhoon No. 10. Leaders of the Northern Power Corporation and Nghe An Power Company have divided into numerous working groups to directly monitor and supervise the situation on-site, encouraging and motivating staff to restore the power grid and restore electricity supply as quickly as possible to serve the people.
"More than 1,000 officials and employees from the electricity sector have been divided into teams to go to each locality to fix the problems, including many reinforcement teams from the northern provinces. However, the repair work is facing many difficulties, as many areas in Nghe An province are still deeply submerged in floodwaters. We expect that the earliest we can basically fix the problems and restore electricity to all customers is October 6th," Mr. Pham Van Nga added.
