Nearly 600 Quynh Luu residents were examined and given free medicine.
On August 24, the Quynh Luu - Hoang Mai Medical Association in Hanoi, led by Associate Professor, Doctor, Specialist II Nguyen Ba Vuong - former Head of the Anti-Poison Department of Military Hospital 103, coordinated with Quang Khoi General Hospital and a number of doctors and medical staff in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town to organize a program to examine, provide health consultation, and provide free medicine to people in Quynh Lam commune.

Within 1 day, nearly 600 people from policy families, poor and near-poor households, the elderly, and vulnerable groups in Quynh Lam commune were examined by a team of doctors, pharmacists, and students from the Quynh Luu - Hoang Mai Medical Association in Hanoi and a number of doctors and medical staff in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town, combined with ultrasound, endoscopy, electrocardiogram, and basic biochemical tests...
Through the examination results, people know their health status and at the same time receive guidance from doctors on how to treat current diseases. In addition, screening for complex diseases helps people promptly transfer to higher-level medical facilities for examination and treatment.
At the program, people were also given free medicine by doctors and nurses and given advice on daily living and nutrition to ensure health and prevent some common diseases, especially during the current complicated weather conditions. This helped people in Quynh Lam commune raise awareness in taking care of their health, their families and the community.
Every year, the Quynh Luu - Hoang Mai Medical Association in Hanoi carries out the "Homeland Summer" journey, visiting many communes in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town to provide health check-ups, consultations, and free medicine distribution to people; thereby wishing to contribute a part of their strength and intelligence to their homeland.
