Nearly 600 people in Quynh Luu received free medical examinations and medication.

Over the course of one day, nearly 600 people from disadvantaged families, poor and near-poor households, the elderly, and vulnerable groups in Quynh Lam commune received comprehensive health check-ups including ultrasound, endoscopy, electrocardiogram, and basic biochemical tests from doctors, pharmacists, and students of the Quynh Luu - Hoang Mai Medical and Pharmaceutical Association in Hanoi, as well as some doctors and medical staff from Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town.

The examination results helped people understand their health status and provided guidance from doctors on how to treat their current illnesses. In addition, screening for complex diseases allowed people to promptly refer to higher-level medical facilities for examination and treatment.

During the program, residents also received free medicine from doctors and medical staff, as well as advice on daily lifestyles and nutrition to ensure good health and prevent common diseases, especially during the current unpredictable weather conditions. This helps the people of Quynh Lam commune raise their awareness of health care for themselves, their families, and the community.

Every year, the Association of Medical and Pharmaceutical Professionals of Quynh Luu - Hoang Mai in Hanoi undertakes the "Homeland Summer" journey, visiting many communes in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town to provide free health check-ups, consultations, and medicine to the people; thereby hoping to contribute a part of their strength and wisdom back to their homeland.
