Nearly 90,000 vehicle inspection expiration certificates have been uploaded online.
According to the Vietnam Registering and Inspection Department, nearly 1.4 million cars nationwide are eligible for automatic registration renewal. To date, the authorities have uploaded nearly 90,000 registration renewal confirmation certificates online.
On June 5th, the Vietnam Registering Authority's management system uploaded 43,525 certificates confirming the validity period of inspection certificates and inspection stickers for vehicles with inspection deadlines from June 12th to June 18th.
Thus, counting from June 3rd to the present, nearly 90,000 certificates have been uploaded online.

According to the Vietnam Registering Agency, there are currently 2,959,409 passenger cars with up to 9 seats (cars) nationwide that are not used for commercial transportation. Of these, 1,392,761 cars are eligible for automatic extension of the validity period stated on their inspection certificates and stickers between June 3, 2023, and June 30, 2024, while 1,566,648 cars are not eligible for the extension of the validity period of their inspection certificates and stickers.
According to the Vietnam Registering and Inspection Department, Circular 08/2023/TT-BGTVT, amending and supplementing several articles of Circular 16/2021/TT-BGTVT dated August 12, 2021, regulating technical safety and environmental protection inspection of road motor vehicles (Circular 08), which came into effect on June 3rd, has attracted significant attention from the public and vehicle owners.
Therefore, recently there has been a sudden surge in people accessing the website to look up vehicle inspection validity periods, leading to network congestion.
Therefore, the Vehicle Registration Department recommends that, to avoid system overload and congestion, vehicle owners should look up and print the certificate of validity and inspection sticker at the following address: https://giahanxcg.vr.org.vn.
On the other hand, the software management system is updated gradually, prioritizing vehicles due for inspection (within a 10-day period).
Therefore, vehicle owners should remain calm and only check when their vehicle's inspection certificate is about to expire.
Therefore, to ensure the identification of these vehicles, it is necessary to have a certificate confirming the validity period of the inspection certificate and the inspection sticker to ensure differentiation, as well as to facilitate and support law enforcement agencies in patrolling, controlling, and handling violations, and assisting vehicle owners when participating in traffic.
