Nearly 90,000 vehicle inspection certificates uploaded online
According to the Vietnam Register, there are nearly 1.4 million cars nationwide that are subject to automatic registration renewal. To date, the authorities have uploaded nearly 90,000 registration renewal certificates online.
On June 5, the management system of the Vietnam Register uploaded 43,525 certificates confirming the validity period of certificates and inspection stamps for vehicles with inspection deadlines from June 12 to June 18.
Thus, from June 3rd to now, nearly 90,000 certificates have been posted online.

Also according to the Registry Department, currently, the whole country has 2,959,409 passenger cars with up to 9 seats (cars) not used for transportation business, of which 1,392,761 cars are eligible for automatic extension of the validity period stated on the certificate and inspection stamp from June 3, 2023 to June 30, 2024 and 1,566,648 cars are not eligible for extension of the validity period of the certificate and inspection stamp.
The Department of Vehicle Registration informs that Circular 08/2023/TT-BGTVT amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 16/2021/TT-BGTVT dated August 12, 2021 regulating technical safety inspection and environmental protection of road motor vehicles (Circular 08) effective from June 3 has attracted a great deal of attention from the public and vehicle owners.
Therefore, recently there has been a sudden increase in the number of people accessing to look up the vehicle registration certificate's validity period, leading to network congestion.
Therefore, the Department of Registration recommends that, to avoid system overload and congestion, vehicle owners should look up and print the certificate of validity of the certificate and inspection stamp at the address: https://giahanxcg.vr.org.vn.
On the other hand, the management software system gradually updates in order of priority vehicles due for inspection (within 10 days).
Therefore, car owners need to stay calm and only check when the vehicle's inspection is about to expire.
Therefore, to ensure recognition between these vehicles, it is necessary to have a certificate of validity of the certificate and inspection stamp to ensure distinction, as well as create favorable conditions to support the authorities in patrolling, controlling, handling violations and vehicle owners when participating in traffic.
