(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 900 gift packages, including clothing and cash, were recently distributed by the Dien Tho Commune Youth Union (Dien Chau District) to needy people in Chi Khe Commune, Con Cuong District.

A charitable trip organized by youth union members took place in Chằn Nằn village, Chi Khê commune on the morning of January 7th. Gifts including 884 sets of warm clothes and 8 cash grants were distributed to disadvantaged households and children in three villages: Chằn Nằn, Bãi Văn, and Lam Khê (Chi Khê commune).

This is the second time since the beginning of 2017 that the volunteer group has organized a gift-giving event for poor households. Previously, in April 2017, the Dien Tho Commune Youth Union organized a charity gift-giving event in Ha Tinh.
