Meet 2 beautiful, talented English female students at Phan school

Hoang Thai Cam Linh (first prize winner) and Nguyen Tu Anh (second prize winner), both students of class 10C5, Phan Boi Chau High School.
These two girls are not "newbies" in English competitions, but have experience in many English competitions at all levels with extremely impressive achievements!

Although they are in grade 10, with the knowledge and impressive achievements mentioned above, Cam Linh and Tu Anh were honored to be chosen to represent grade 11 of Nghe An province to participate in the 3rd National English Talent Olympiad in the Central Highlands region.
The two talented female students said that last school year, they also participated in this exam and achieved quite impressive results. Cam Linh won Third Prize and Tu Anh won Special Prize, so the pressure to maintain their form and continue to "fight" is not small.
| Participating in the English Talent Olympiad, contestants must compete in 3 categories, including “What's the topic” (Students watch images and come up with a common topic), “Are you a good communicator” (watch videos with a topic and handle situations) and “Who's the best orator” (speak eloquence and answer questions from the judges).The competition took place over 2 days, gathering excellent students from grades 5, 9 and 11 of 16 teams from provinces and cities in the Central Highlands region. |
Talking about the biggest impression of the contest, both Cam Linh and Tu Anh affirmed that it was the speech contest. In this contest, the contestants took turns drawing a speech topic, had 10 minutes to think and 5 minutes to present.
The short time requires each candidate to have fluent English speaking skills, with convincing arguments and evidence as well as confident intonation and demeanor to achieve high scores.
Tu Anh recalls:
“My speech topic is: A life with knowledge or a life with a lot of money, which is more important? This is a highly debated topic, requiring a lot of information about society. I think all factors are equally important, but knowledge must be the foundation, from knowledge to awareness and then people will have the motivation and methods to make money.”
As for Cam Linh, with the topic The Importance of Friendship and Qualities of a Good Friend, she confidently presented her views based on the reality of school life around her. Both essays received high praise from the judges, helping the two talented female students "finish" spectacularly.

Sharing the secret to learning foreign languages well, Cam Linh and Tu Anh both said that the top secret is diligence and hard work, followed by boldly practicing listening and speaking regularly with friends, teachers, the English community...
The two female students also humorously added that each person should find a fun and comfortable way to learn, such as listening to music, watching movies, reading stories, etc. in English. This will help foreign languages not be a difficult subject and help them remember longer.
Two beautiful and talented female students of Phan Boi Chau High School confided in us about their dreams for the future. For Cam Linh, her biggest dream is to become a good doctor; for Tu Anh, her dream is to work in an English environment and open an English center to help many young people in Nghe An access this popular world language.
