Meeting with officials of the Nghe An - Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union from different periods.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 17th, the Liaison Committee of former officials of the Nghe An - Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Standing Committee of the Nghe An and Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Unions, organized a meeting of officials of the Nghe An - Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union from various periods to commemorate the 88th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2019).
Earlier that morning, the delegates also participated in many meaningful activities such as: laying wreaths and reporting their achievements to President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City; laying wreaths and offering incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force at the Truong Bon National Historical Site; planting commemorative trees; and presenting 10 gifts to 10 poor but academically excellent students in My Son commune, Do Luong district.

The delegates reminisced about the traditions, sentiments, and memories of former Youth Union officials from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces (formerly Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces). In each period and stage, Youth Union officials always strived and made efforts to maximize the creative spirit of young people, helping the Youth Union work and youth movements to develop more deeply and broadly.
As a result, more and more good practices and exemplary models of youth participation in socio-economic development, ensuring political security and social order in localities, and consolidating and building the Youth Union and Youth Association organizations have emerged.

At the meeting, former Youth Union officials contributed many heartfelt opinions, urging today's Youth Union officials to continue striving harder in organizing and mobilizing young people; to uphold the traditions, pioneering spirit, and volunteerism of youth, and to be worthy of being the leading and reliable force of the Party in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
