Meeting to celebrate 'Nghia Dan 15 years of innovation and development'

After 15 years of separation to establish Thai Hoa town according to Decree 164/ND-CP dated November 15, 2007 of the Government, Nghia Dan district has many comprehensive development steps; building a new modern, exemplary administrative area, a new rural appearance contributing to making the district a bright spot of the Center of the Northwest Nghe An region.

Nghia Dan district also attracts many projects to the locality such as: The project of raising dairy cows and processing milk concentrated on an industrial scale, completing phase 1 with 350 million USD, the largest project in Southeast Asia, with wide influence; High-tech forest planting project and MDF wood processing factory (110 million USD); Clean vegetable, root and fruit export project (35 million USD) ...

Industrial clusters are gradually being formed in the district such as: Phu Quy Industrial Park (Dong Hoi - Nghia Hoi) located on the road connecting Dong Hoi (Quynh Luu) - Thai Hoa; Nghia Long - Loc small industrial park... In 2022, the total production value in the area and the average added value are estimated at 72.6 million VND/person/year; the district's budget revenue increased over 15 times, from 14.23 billion in 2009 to 214.580 billion in 2022; the poverty rate decreased sharply from 23.12% (2008) to 4.07% (2022).

By 2022, Nghia Dan will have 20/22 communes achieving NTM, 1 commune achieving advanced NTM. With the orientation of developing high-tech agriculture, Nghia Dan has effectively implemented the projects "Developing advantageous fruit trees of Nghia Dan district associated with processing industry, product consumption, period 2021-2025"; Project "Developing and improving the quality of agricultural cooperatives associated with promoting the implementation of the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) Program", Project "Continuing to focus on land accumulation, building commodity-oriented agriculture, applying high technology in Nghia Dan district, period 2022-2025, vision to 2030".

Over the past 15 years, Nghia Dan District Party Committee has achieved the title of Strong Party Committee for 10 consecutive years (2008 - 2018); the government, Fatherland Front and district-level organizations have always been commended by the Central and provincial levels for many outstanding achievements. The people and officials of the district were honored to be awarded the First Class Labor Medal by the Party and State twice (2013 and 2018).
