Meeting with Lao students at Vinh University on the occasion of Bunpimay Tet (Lao New Year).
On the afternoon of April 12th, Vinh University organized a friendly exchange program to celebrate the traditional Bunpimay New Year for Lao students. This is an annual activity aimed at honoring culture and strengthening solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.
Speaking at the event, the leaders of Vinh University extended their best wishes for the traditional Bunpimay New Year to all Lao students studying at the university and wished them and their families good health and happiness in the new year.

According to the leaders of Vinh University, for many years the university has been promoting comprehensive cooperation activities, especially in education and training, with provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic. Currently, the university has nearly 150 Lao students studying at the undergraduate and master's levels.

The leaders of Vinh University continue to hope that Lao students will always strive to overcome all difficulties, constantly make efforts in their studies and training to become "Outstanding Global Citizens". This is also an opportunity for staff, employees, and students of Vinh University to celebrate the Bunpimay New Year together and learn about the culture of Laos. Through this, the solidarity and friendship between the people of the two countries are further strengthened, as well as the affection between the staff, employees, and students of the university towards the Lao students.

At the celebration, the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association of Nghe An province and Vinh University also awarded certificates of merit and scholarships to Lao students with excellent academic achievements.
Immediately following the anniversary celebration was the traditional wrist-tying ceremony and exchange activities between students from both countries.
