Previously, Mr. LVT, born in 1965 in Son Thinh hamlet, Thanh Thinh commune (Thanh Chuong), came to Thanh Chuong General Hospital for examination due to epigastric pain for 3 days.

Through examination, the doctor diagnosed and prescribed a gastrointestinal endoscopy. During the endoscopy, it was discovered that near the pylorus of the stomach there was a bamboo toothpick (still intact) that had pierced the stomach wall causing inflammation and ulceration.
