Garmin releases Beta 23.15 update to fix reset issues on Fenix 8 and Enduro 3.
Garmin has rolled out Beta 23.15 software update to its high-end smartwatches, fixing a bug that causes devices to restart automatically while playing music and improving the flashlight shortcut.
Garmin has officially rolled out Beta Version 23.15 to users participating in the testing program on its high-end smartwatches. This version focuses on addressing critical system bugs and optimizing existing hardware features.
Troubleshooting system issues when processing audio.
One of the most notable points of the 23.15 update is the fix for a bug that caused devices to automatically restart (reset) during music playback. This issue had directly affected the user experience of Fenix devices for some time. In addition, the bug where music volume automatically spiked to 100% during timer notifications has also been completely resolved.
Improved flashlight functionality and system shortcuts.
Garmin has refined the flashlight shortcut to allow users more flexibility in switching between modes: On, Off, and Strobe. This change enhances usability for models with integrated physical LED lights, such as the Fenix 8 and Enduro 3.
For devices that don't directly support the phone app, the phone shortcut will now take users directly to the phone connection page instead of being inactive as before. Additionally, Garmin has updated the language translations to optimize display for users worldwide.
